The Hemodialysis Registered Professional Nurse is responsible and accountable for the dialysis of acute and chronic Patients.The Registered Nurse utilizes his/her Knowledge, judgement and skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients receiving dialysis under his/her supervision. The Registered Nurse practice involves diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential problems, and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well being. In addition it is a role of collaboration, coordination of services, and patient/family education.
Current NYS License, graduate of an accredited school of nursing, minimum of one year acute care nursing experience, ACLS certification within six month of hire. Critical care, emergency or hemodialysis background preferred.
