The Clinical Lead has administrative accountability for continuous delivery of high quality patient care in the nursing unit(s) assigned.
Primary unit for supervision is Med/Surg. Supervises, orients, and coordinates the work of RNs, LPNs, and other staff in the unit.
As a Clinical Coordinator you will work closely with nursing leadership, participate in Shared Governance and be responsible for project needs as they relate to the Patient Care Services Management Action Plan. (Such as Pathway to Excellence Journey, Shared Governance, etc.)
Current NYS License, graduate of an accredited school of nursing, minimum of three to five years acute care nursing experience, ACLS certification, PALS certification within one year of hire. Strong technical competence and critical care background preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and decision making skills, ability to teach, mentor, coordinate and provide super user training as needed.
Project management experience, quality outcomes driven, strong computer skills and previous supervisory/ management experience strongly preferred.
BSN required or working towards an advanced degree, certification of specialty preferred. Must be flexible and open to change and strong customer service attributes.
