Plans, implements and manages the Adirondack Health Plan for Improving Organization Performance, designed to enhance the efficiency of operation, maintain patient safety and satisfaction and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditory bodies.
Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred; degrees in business management, public health, science or mathematics considered. Previous experience in management and supervision is desirable as well as CPHQ credential, or equivalent; and training in Lean principles.
Skills: Excellent communication and written skills required. Strong working knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation; excellent analytical and problem solving skills are also required. Interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills required in interacting and dealing with hospital board members, administration, medical staff, and hospital personnel as well as external customers and surveyors. Must be assertive and confident in managing complex situations in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Must be flexible and creative.
