Plans, schedules and implements the programs of the Activities department in a manner that maintains or enhances each resident’s dignity and respect in full recognition of his or her individuality. Activity programming is recreational, social activities, and entertainment designed to stimulate and support the resident’s physical and mental capabilities to the fullest extent while maintaining a sense of usefulness and self-respect. Activity programs are developed within the framework of the facilities organizational structure in accordance with State and Federal regulations and the approval of the resident’s attending physician.
NYS Occupational Therapist; Recreational Therapist; or COTA;
or Requires a High School Diploma and 2 Years experience as Activities Aide in last 5 years and current CNA certification. Valid N.Y.S. Driver’s license
